SHOULD YOU RENT A CAR?
Transportation in Jamaica is relatively expensive because of the high duty on cars. For years in the interest of saving money and most of our guest not being use to driving on the left side, our recommendation was not to rent a car. If you are looking to relax and only do a few things you do need to rent. Many of our guest after arriving discover all the wonderful things to do spend as much on Taxi and bus as they would renting a car.

Many of our guess stay with every year, and some vast two or three times a year, all say rent the car, not because you have to but because there is so much to see and do. Most of the things to do in Jamaica are very reasonable, it is tour or transportation charges that add so much to the cost. This would depend on the type of vacation you are looking for.

Cost From the Airport
Tropical Tours. This is the bus that most hotels use to transport guest to Ocho Rios. The cost is $25 per person each way.  The negative is you sometime stop to drop guest at hotels along the way. This is least expensive for 2 adults. Phone 876-973-9100 fax 876-973-9119.

Tenzies Tour.  A Private limo Service that brings you directly to our Villa. The cost is $75 for four adults each way and $15 for each added adults.
